Chlorine from the Chlor-Alkali plant reacts with Ethylene to produce Ethylene Dichloride. Afterward, EDC is separated into Vinyl Chloride Monomer and Hydrochloric Acid. The flow process shows the work process of Direct Chlorination and the method of its combination with the Oxy-Chlorination process.
