ASC Commitment Towards Green House Gas (GHG)
Emissions Reduction
Aligning with AGC Group–our holding company–goals, in 2022 we set a Company goal:
30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (including Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions) by 2030, measured against the 2019 baseline.
This goal is part of our concerted efforts to progress towards the Net-Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050.
Promoting Renewable Energy Source
Our shift to renewable energy include initiatives as follows:
We are privileged to collaborate with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) (PLN), having secured the largest contract for the purchase of 18 million Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) units, equivalent to 18,000 GWh of energy, from 2022 to 2037.
This 15 years agreement is projected to reduce CO2 emissions by 15.66 million tons and support the AGC Group’s carbon reduction goals
